
Pediatric rehabilitation is designed to maximize the abilities of children when development is interrupted by an injury or a disability. This includes helping patients heal and learn the skills they need to grow into thriving adults. We serve infants and children up to age 22 with complex medical conditions, physical disabilities, delayed feeding skills, developmental and behavioral issues around feeding/chewing and swallowing such as:
• Articulation and phonological impairments
• Autism/autism spectrum disorder
• Cardiac/respiratory problems
• Cerebral palsy
• Cleft palate
• Failure to thrive/poor growth
• Fluency
• Language impairments
• Oral aversion (sensory)
• Poor head/trunk control
• Sucking and chewing difficulties
• Tube feeding usage
